About the data
Every dot is a 311 service request filed with New York City, loaded live from NYC Open Data. Records from 2020 on come from the city's 2020 to present dataset; older ones from the 2010 to 2019 dataset. The city refreshes it daily, usually about a day behind.
It covers only requests the city routes to an agency, and the city notes it is incomplete for parts of the COVID-19 period. Requests without a location are counted but can't be drawn. Times are New York time.
When a window holds more complaints than the map draws at once, the map shows the most recent ones in view and states the true total. Zoom in, or pick a single day or hour, to see all of them.
Not an official record and not legal advice. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors.
Couldn't reach NYC Open Data
The map loads complaints live from the city's data service, and that request didn't go through. Check your internet connection and try again. If you opened this page inside an app's file preview, open 311.lexmentis.pro in your browser instead.
